PMG attends the National Mortgage Conference in Toronto, Nov 17-18.
Joining over 1,200 delegates over two days at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, we took in plenty of info and had the opportunity to connect with many other likeminded mortgage professionals. This time together gave us so much and helped reset and recharge for a new year ahead.
Some highlights:
• Keynote motivational speakers’ common advice – “Be empathetic!”
• 2020 economic outlook presented by one of our favourites – Benjamin Tal, “Potentially lower interest rates in the short term ahead. Trump makes a boring trade deal with China prior to election to look like a hero.”
• CEOs of Lenders – “going to be a decent year ahead with more product offerings coming to the table.”
We made the decision to take the Go to and from Toronto, which was really convenient.
